what kind of treatment do you need?
They can’t do anything for a cyst that has ruptured. In fact it’s even difficult to confirm that is actually what happened. Typically they do a trans vaginal ultrasound and if they see free floating fluid in that area, they assume that a cyst has ruptured. I have been there many times and have been admitted to the hospital for pain management during an acute episode. It’s miserable. I had several episodes and then my OBGYN decided to d a diagnostic laparoscopy to see what was happening. It turns out that I have endometriosis which was the culpret all along.
