How long does a lower abdomen vertical mid-line incision for ovarian cyst expected to heal and stop bleeding?

I had a mid-line incision to remove an ovarian cyst. The sutures were removed eight days after. Now, its the eleventh day since the operation, there is still a little bleeding in the incision site. Should I be worried?

See your surgeon ASAP! There should be no bleeding after the stitches were removed.

I would suggest seeing your doctor. "Bleeding" can sometimes be a sign of infection, but not always. Is the bleeding diluted by puss? If so you have an infection. Everyone is different, so be sure to check with your doctor if it does not reside.
