ovarian cysts usually give you menstrual disorders, such as periods that last longer than usual, or even bleeding between periods. other syptoms can be lower abdominal or pelvic pain, which may start and stop and may be severe, sudden, and sharp, and long-term pelvic pain during menstrual period that may also be felt in the lower back. sometimes you can even have pain in pelvic region after intercourse.
you should go to your gynecologyst, he/she will probably ask you to get a pelvic ultrasound and maybe some blood test to see hormone levels, so he/she can determine if you have cysts, and if you do, what kind they are.
it is very important to get yourself in treatment since these cysts cause hormonal disorders (because your ovaries are not releasing the hormones they should).
