I was told at my pelvic ultrasound that I have ovarian cysts and they are testing me for polycystic ovaries. Does it mean that I will need frequent visits to the gynocologist and the doctor? I dont know nothing about it until I speak to my doctor next to explain what ovarian cysts actually are? I have never been to a gynocologist before either so I am a little apprehensive.
If you have Poly-cystic Ovarian Syndrome then you may need treatment. It all depends on what symptoms you have and how it is affecting your life.
I have been taking the pill for about a year now to treat my hormone imbalance and PCOS. I go to see my gynaecologist about every 6 months now because my condition has started to settle down.
Talk and listen to your doctor. You may or may not need treatment, but if you do then don’t ignore it. They professionals know what they are talking about!
If you want to know more about the condition do a search for PCOS and read up on it.
I was told I had ovarian cysts by my Gyno….they acted like it was no big deal…
