What led you to believe that is was an ovarian cyst?
Well for me it starts out as a dull ache around my pubic bone. The pain intensifies as the cyst grows bigger. I also notice the pain more as I relieve my bladder as it relieves the pressure on the cyst itself. I also get a very upset stomach for weeks at a time.
Probably not a good idea.My wife had stage IV kidney cancer. She was doing ok when we decided to take a trip to a third world country. While we were there she got very sick and the Doctors there had no clue on what was wrong or how to treat her.We could not get an early flight out of there and had to stay in the motel room for four days before we finally got back to the US.We decided then not to ever leave our great country again.
my daughter just had a ovarian cancer stage 3 surgery, now she was about to do some treatment. but the doctor said they they don’t want to take a risk so she have 2 choice of treatment. either chemo or clinical trial. she is only 24 yrs.old. so i want to know what is the really best treatment for her. if you can answer me soon because she need the answer by friday. thank you and is there any web site that i can go to ask more information.
Well this really depends on the Trial that she would enroll in. factors such as whether the treatment is already proven to work for that disease, side effects etc. you need to review the full information and weigh out the benefits and the risks of both options. you should never be pressured to enter a trial without all the information needed to make an informed decision.
Hope this helps
Last week I went into the emergency room at my local hospital with terrible pains on my right side. After a few tests I was told I had an Ovarian Cyst that had ruptured. I was on a drip for 4 days and was then allowed home. I felt extremely bloated but my doctors told me that in a few days my body will be able to fix itself up and I will be fine. I wasn’t perscribed anything.
I am a 20 year old female. I am sexually active and have always found it slightly painful and uncomfortable to have sex.
My stomach is still very bloated 8 days after the rupture. Sorry for the graphic details, but I have also had a thick white discharge and my vagina has been smelling a bit :/
I went back to my local GP yesterday because I still have a stomache ache, which feels like very bad period pain. It has been hurting like this for 8 days, but until this afternoon I had not gotten my period. This afternoon however I have started ‘spotting’. It’s not like a proper period, just like bits of tissue etc.
I got a referral to have another ultrasound today and my doctor called me with the results. I have another cyst in the same ovary, 20x18mm in size.
Again, like the doctors at the hospital, my GP told me that my body will fix itself. She said it was "likely" that this cyst would go away and not rupture. In the meantime I have to wait and relax.
I am not really satisfied with this answer, I feel I keep getting vague responses from doctors. Is this cyst at risk of rupturing? It’s grown pretty big for 8 days right?
Are there any treatments that I can go on that will help me? Natural remidies?
I would really appreciate your help and ideas.
go to an OBGYN.
I have hyperthyroidism and alot of ovarian cysts. i researched online hollistic methods to Cure or treat them naturally. for the hyperthyroid its a completely new change in diet along with adding vit c vit e vit b and b12 primrose oil and paba capsules everyday. now for the pcos theres 7 herbs from roots plants and other things in capsule form. so when the day is out i will be taking approx 30 capsules of natural minerals and herbs. is this okay to do? or do i risk doing this?
Without knowing the exact amounts of the different vitamins it is difficult to say. Most of the ones you listed should be fine as supplements are very safe in general.
In regards to herbs that is a different story. Depending on the quality of the company herbs can vary greatly in safety and quality. So without knowing which herbs you are taking I would recommend caution when it comes to herbs. If you experience any side effects I would stop taking the herbs first since those are most likely the ones that could potentially cause problems. Still herbs in general have a good safety record as well so hopefully you experience some good results.
For Polycystic Ovary Syndrome I would look into vitamin D. Vitamin D is safe in doses up to 10,000 iu so if you wanted to give it a try I would recommend that dose for at least 3 months and then you could have a doctor test your blood to see where your levels are at.
I’ve researched the internet about pcos and found two e-books. One is "The Natural Diet Solution for PCOS and Infertility" and the other is "Natural Ovarian Cyst Relief Secrets". Which one is the best or have you found something better? I want to cure this naturally. Thank you very much.

I am 18 years old and am having some insane issues. My birth control is supposed to give me a period every three months, but mine randomly came a month and a half early. It hurt so terribly bad that I told my mom I needed to go to the doctor. I was (and still am) writhing in pain constantly and throwing up and all the pain medicine in the world still doesnt make it bearable. We went to the gynecologist the other day, and he said he thought it was a ruptured cyst, and that I was throwing up because blood had seeped into my stomach. He told us to get am ultrasound and then call him. Well the lady at the front desk didn’t schedule us until a week later, but my mom made her move it up as much as possible, which is tomorrow.
The pain isn’t ending, it hurts so bad that I cannot move at times. From what I’ve seen online, the treatments seem as if I wouldn’t recover from them quickly at all, and that this may be a rough road.
I just wanted to know if any of you have had experience and what happened and what you’re recover was like.
I’m scared to death. Please, any input is helpful input.
My best friends mom had one rupture. I know it is scary (having my own scare now) but ovarian cysts are kind of common my dr. says. Once they get the rupture under control the pain meds should help you. You may have an infection in which case they would start you on antibiotics immediately after your ultrasound. From what I understand, once you get diagnosed they can start treating it for real and you should have some relief.
Hi, I just found out I have polycystic overian syndrome, I am 21 and I am trying to get pregnat. Can someone help me by suggesting what treatment’s have worked to help me to get pregnat? Or someone who’s been true this. Thanke you.

Im 16 and i have had 3 or 4 ruptured ovarian cysts. I don’t want to go on the pill but if it i continue to have them rupture can it prevent me from having children in the future?
Hi…
If you haven’t already you may eventually be diagnosed with pcos (poly cystic ovarian syndrome). Generally 1 out of 15 women will have some form of it. If you have any problems with fertility there are numerous medications and fertility treatments to help you in the future.
The very best of luck and i hope your ok. x
How exactly does an ovarian cyst cause infertility? From my understanding, someone who has an ovarian cyst cant release an egg during ovulation, which makes it impossible for egg and sperm to meet. But doesnt that also mean if someone has a cyst, they wont get their period bc no ovulation occured? Thanks in Advance.
Because ovarian cysts are commonly found in young women, many infertile women will also be noted to have ovarian cysts . These are often detected on routine ultrasound scans, and cause considerable confusion and anxiety in the minds of patients.
An ovarian cyst is just a fluid-filled sac in the ovary. They can vary in size and contain liquid that is thin and watery, or thicker and paste-like. Cysts are very common in the ovary as a result of the ovulation cycle. Even normally, the follicle ( in which the egg grows) contains fluid. If the follicle doesn’t rupture at the time of ovulation ( when the egg is released) , the follicle gets bigger as it swells with fluid. This follicular cyst is also called a functional cyst, because it is a result of ovarian function. The other type of functional cyst is a corpus luteum cyst which develops when the corpus luteum fills with fluid or blood. When bleeding occurs within a functional cyst, this is called a hemorrhagic cyst.
